How Telehealth Works

At Embrace OT Online, we bring occupational therapy straight to you through secure video sessions. Telehealth makes it easier for children, young people and families to get support from home, with sessions focused on strengths, meaningful goals, and creating opportunities for growth. 

1.Complete a Referral form 

Complete a referral form through our website or ask your GP/support coordinator to complete a referral form.

2. Service Agreement

A service agreement will be sent out and signed off by each party to ensure the right fit and right service. 

3.Confirmation

You will get an email or text with your appointment details and a secure video link.

4. Get Ready

• Find a quiet space. 
• Use a computer, tablet or phone with camera and microphone. 
• Children must have a parent or guardian present.

5. Join the Session

• At your appointment time, click the link we send you.
• We’ll talk together, ask questions, and work on your goals.

6. After the Session

• You’ll receive strategies and recommendations.
• A written report if requested
• New appointment times confirmed.
